This painting is inspired by both the stunning landscape of the Rocky Mountains, and the "Courageous Spirit" of the woman whom I created it for.  I am drawn by the massive prairie sky, Old Chief Mountain in the distance, and all the glorious grassland textures.  I have passed through this area since I was a little toddler, and I am in awe each and every time.
